What is the difference between Launchpad and SANDBOX?
Launchpad is a 6-month Founder Residency program, supporting early-stage ventures to build and grow. The SANDBOX Investment Programs serves as a due-diligence process for pre-Seed to Seed stage startups to be considered for investment. Both Launchpad and SANDBOX are in-house programs by Oraseya Capital.

I am working on my MVP but it is not completed yet. Can I apply to Launchpad?
Yes! Launchpad accepts stellar founders from idea-stage to pre-Seed stage.
Do I need a co-founder to apply?
No, although co-founding teams are preferred.
I’m a solo founder. Can solo founders apply to Launchpad?
Absolutely! Although teams with co-founders are preferred in the long run. If you’re a solo founder, perhaps being enrolled in Launchpad will help you find a co-founder…!
Do I need to be full-time on my project to join Launchpad?
No, although preference veers towards candidates that are committing full-time to their venture.
Can founders from outside the UAE apply?
Yes, although priority is given to founders that have a clear nexus to the UAE; building in the UAE, for the UAE, or from the UAE.
What is the application process?
We’ve made the application process simple and refreshingly transparent. Step 1 – Submit your application via the Apply button. All applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Step 2 – If shortlisted, you will be invited to a 15 minute Shortlisting Call with our team. You will have < 7 minutes to pitch your startup, followed by < 8 minutes of Q&A. If you pass the Shortlisting Call, you will be invited to enroll into Launchpad.
How can I make my application stand out?

Are there any fees to participate in the program?

Do Launchpad participants receive any funding?
Launchpad is not an investment program. It is a Founder Residency program. It is designed specifically to level-up founders, building under the watchful eye of Oraseya Capital – the #1 most active VC in the UAE. Launchpad provides access to an array of world-class experts, and enable startups to build alongside a community of ambitious teams. Nevertheless, Oraseya Capital actively monitors the progress of all startups in its programs.
Will Oraseya Capital invest in my startup if I am enrolled in Launchpad?
Launchpad is a Founder Residency program. Whilst it offers a wealth of support, enrollment does not guarantee investment. Launchpad is designed specifically to level-up founders, building under the watchful eye of Oraseya Capital – the #1 most active VC in the UAE. The team at Oraseya Capital actively monitor the progress of all startups enrolled in its programs, for a potential investment consideration where appropriate.
